These 24 townhomes in North York prove you don't need a huge lot to create privacy. Smart layout design means each unit feels like its own little world, even though they're all connected. Young families are loving them.

This 1890s textile mill in Hamilton was basically falling apart when we got the call. Now it's a mixed-use space with loft apartments and artist studios. We kept every brick we could save - the history's too good to trash.

Sometimes the best buildings aren't buildings at all. This public plaza turned an underused intersection into the neighborhood's meeting spot. Food trucks, farmers markets, kids playing - exactly what we hoped for.

Farm-to-table restaurant in Distillery District needed interiors that matched their food philosophy. We used reclaimed barn wood, local stone, and tons of natural light. Chef says the space helped them get their first Michelin mention.

Client wanted a forever home that wouldn't cost a fortune to heat. This passive house design cuts energy use by 90% compared to typical Toronto homes. Their winter heating bills? Less than $200 for the whole season.

1880s Victorian that needed serious love. We kept the gorgeous exterior intact while totally rethinking the interior flow. Modern kitchen, spa bathroom, but you'd never know from the street. Heritage committee approved on first submission.

Turned a series of back alleys into a pedestrian-friendly green corridor. Local businesses chipped in, residents helped with planting days, and now it's the neighborhood's favorite shortcut. Urban design doesn't always need big budgets.

Four-story corner building with retail at grade and creative offices above. The corner entrance became this dramatic double-height space that everybody photographs. Local maker shops love the exposed brick and huge windows.
